Mid-Week Update 01/15/26

This Sunday, we are starting a new series entitled Distraction to Devotion. Our theme for the year is Decrease Distraction and Increase Devotion. This series will be 11 weeks of expository messages to help us direct our attention and affections toward Christ and his kingdom. During the series, we plan to do a digital fast and a prayer summit. More to come on both of those. I am praying that you all encounter Christ more deeply in the next season.
There are a number of events coming this month.

Soup Sunday will be this week. 

Harvest Kids training is happening on the last Saturday of the month. This is for all who serve in Harvest Kids, whether you've been serving or your are wanting to learn how you can serve.

As we mentioned in the announcements, there is a community prayer gathering next Sunday evening. Several churches in the community have partnered together to seek God's face, worship, and pray for revival in our county. You can find more information here.

Then next month we have both the Marriage Night (which includes dinner and childcare) and a Women's Bible Study on the book of Titus. Both will be great opportunities to open God's word and grow together. Make sure you sign up, as registration closes for the marriage event in 2 weeks.

This week, you can turn in your baby bottles to support Life Plan. If you have not turned them in yet, please put them on the back table, and we will deliver them to Life Plan for you this coming week.
Lastly, VBS is coming. You can register kids here and sign up to serve here. So excited we get to minister not only to the kids of Harvest Lakeshore but also to our community. Make sure you sign up to serve and sign up your kids to attend.
