Mid-Week Update 9/11/25

Today, we are reminded of the traumatic events that happened 24 years ago on September 11th. In addition, our nation continues to experience the effects of evil in numerous ways. I read the Billy Graham sermon given at the National Cathedral on September 14, 2001. Those words brought hope to a shocked nation, and I found those words comforting today.

Prayer Meeting
This year, we want to decrease distractions and increase our devotion to Jesus, so we planned a time to seek God's face this Saturday, September 13th. We will spend time in prayer and worship from 9 to noon. Childcare is not provided for this prayer time; however, we plan to offer childcare for future corporate prayer gatherings.

Tables and Chairs
Lastly, we were given the generous gift of new tables for our church this summer. To make room to store the tables, we are getting rid of our old tables and a few chairs that do not match our black chairs. If you would like some tables or chairs, please feel free to grab them on Sunday after church in the gym for a donation of any amount.
