Mid-Week Update 11/13/25

Dear Harvest Family

Thank you for praying for the Men's event. We had almost 30 men in attendance for a rich time in the word and discussion. We also had a great time relating to one another while doing some fun activities and eating some great food. Thank you to Mike Klunder and his team for organizing and leading through that event.

Lineage of Grace Series
Starting the Sunday before Thanksgiving, I will be teaching through a series of expository messages on the passages in scripture that highlight the women in Jesus' family tree as found in Matthew 1:1-16. This is not a series just for women. This is a series highlighting God's grace in the midst of brokenness. You may have friends or family members that you are reaching out to who think church is just for people who have it all together. This will be a great opportunity for you to invite friends to encounter the God who came in the flesh and meets us in our brokenness with the amazing grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During the series, we will also have folks from our church sharing their stories of how God's amazing grace came into their lives through Christ. Here is a list of the messages, because there may be a particular one you want to invite people to.
November 23, 2025, Unveiled: Grace in Our Shame – Genesis 38 – the story of Tamar would serve those who have been abused or taken advantage of and yearn for justice
November 30, 2025 Unveiled: Grace for the Outsider – Joshua 2:1–24; 6:7, 25 – the story of Rahab would serve those who think past mistakes ruin any chance of a joy-filled future

December 14, 2025 Unspoken: Grace Greater Than Our Sin – 2 Samuel 11:1–12:25; Psalms 51 & 32 – the story of Bathsheba would serve those who feel like they’ve lost their reputation forever, reminding them God can make beauty from ashes

December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve) Unexpected: Grace That Brings Joy – Luke 1:5–25, 39–45, 67–80 - the story of Elizabeth and Zechariah would serve those who feel like God has forgotten them
