In the closing words of Galatians, Paul shows us what a cross-centered life actually looks like. We are called to sow faithfully to the Spirit, trusting that God will bring the harvest in His time. We are also called to reject every false source of confidence and boast only in the cross of Jesus Christ, because our deepest identity is found in what He has done for us. The cross frees us from living for the approval of the world and makes us part of God’s new creation. Genuine belonging to Christ will leave marks on our lives through faithfulness, sacrifice, perseverance, and courage. Galatians ends where the Christian life begins and continues: with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
