From slaves to sons

In Galatians 4:1–7, Paul reminds us that the gospel is not merely about forgiveness—it is about becoming part of God’s family. Before Christ, we were enslaved by sin, performance, and the endless pursuit of approval. But at just the right time, God sent His Son to redeem us and adopt us as His sons and daughters. He then sent His Spirit into our hearts, assuring us that we belong to Him and can cry out, “Abba! Father!” Through Christ, we move from fear to assurance, from bondage to freedom, and from slavery to inheritance. This message invites us to stop living like spiritual slaves and begin enjoying the full privileges of being beloved children of God.
